Day is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has been a practicing therapist since January 2017. With a Bachelors in Psychology from Florida International University and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, she specializes in Trauma and Life Transitions; which include anything from moving, divorce, new found relationships, being laid off, getting a new job, becoming a parent, etc. Day has an extensive background as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychosocial Education, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative/Talk Therapy. Day takes the first session to truly get to know her clients and works with them to build a treatment plan that is uniquely tailored to their needs. Day is also bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.
