Bridgette began her career in counseling through obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Florida International University and furthered her education by completing a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. Bridgette has worked in a number of clinical settings, including mental health, substance use and dual diagnosis with children, adolescents, couples, adults and families. Presently, Bridgette has over 10 years of experience, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for the state of Florida and is a Qualified Supervisor for clinicians seeking to obtain licensure to practice as an LMHC in the state of Florida. My approach is client-centered and strengths based, I encourage my clients to create change and positive core beliefs while enhancing their self-image. I incorporate interventions from CBT, DBT, Family Systems, Mindfulness and Solution Focused theories.
